Melissa K. Landy Esq. RN
ABOUT US

After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1986, I worked as a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit
and then as a charge nurse in a psychiatric hospital. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to combine my medical knowledge with a law degree. In 1990, I graduated University of Miami School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar.
After working as a defense attorney and plaintiff's attorney for insurance companies and private medical malpractice firms, I realized that the success of the case hinged on understanding the client's past, present and future medical condition.
Your client's cases are a puzzle and unless you have all the pieces, it is very hard to be a proper advocate.
In 1993, I started Melissa K. Landy Esq. PA with a practice that works as a consultant to other attorneys so that they can be successful with their cases. No case is too small or too big. Whether you have a simple slip and fall with a back injury,
a motor vehicle rollover with a traumatic brain injury or a failure to diagnose and treat a medical condition,
I can help you understand the injuries and the damages-both past and future.

As a testament to my skills, I have had the same repeat clients since first starting Melissa K. Landy Esq, PA. in 1993.
